Cashew Cheese Spread

A great accompaniment to soups, like Veg Revival’s French Onion Soup.

The fact that you can keep any leftovers in the fridge for a week, means there’s always a yummy bite a moment away!

Cashew Cheese Spread

Total time: 10 mins
Serves: ¾ cup
A great accompaniment to soups, like Veg Revival’s French Onion Soup. Can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
  • ½ cup cashew butter
  • 2 Tbsp. unsweetened plain almond or rice milk
  • 1 Tbsp. tahini
  • 1 Tbsp. nutritional yeast
  • ¼ tsp. onion powder
  • ¼ tsp. fine sea salt
  • ⅛ tsp. garlic powder
  • ⅛ tsp. white pepper
  1. Place all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth and combined. Alternately, mix them in a large bowl using the back of a wooden spoon to mash them together.

  1. Thanks for the delicious recipes Lyn – question time…could the cashew butter be replaced with whole cashew nuts; is there an alternative for the nutritional yeast and lastly, where/what onion powder do you buy?
