I love to sip through this as a midmorning snack.
It also gives my reason to add other healthy extras, that I might not otherwise have in the day, like ginger and cinnamon.
Papaya & Ginger Smoothie

Serves: 2-3 cups
Any blender can handle this smoothie. You can keep a few of the papaya seeds in the smoothie. They do give a strong peppery flavour, but are very cleansing on the digestive system.
- 1½ cups water
- 2 cups papaya, peeled and chopped (1 medium-sized papaya)
- 1 Tbsp. fresh ginger, minced
- 1 Tbsp. coconut oil
- 1 pinch of cinnamon
- 1 pinch of salt
- Blend everything on high for about 30 seconds in a high-speed blender or 60 seconds in a regular blender.
